As the sun rises on Saturday morning, the world is that much closer to the release of EA Sports College Football 25. And to celebrate the summer release of the new game, Nebraska football has a new player confirming he’s officially “in the game.”
Wide receiver Malachi Coleman is the latest Husker to take to social media and make it official. He’s signed a deal with the video game developer that will put his name, image, and likeness into the title.
Coleman is officially the third Husker to make that announcement. The first two were quarterback Dylan Raiola and fellow receiver Dae’vonn Hall. It’s clear that not every Nebraska football player is announcing they signed the deal, though EA has been working out special deals with several Cornhuskers stars to get people excited.

At the same time that Malachi Coleman is making it clear that people will be able to throw the digitized ball to him, we’re moving that much closer to getting a really good look at what the new version of NCAA Football video games will look like.
Electronic Arts has said there will be a “full reveal” in May and that EA Sports College Football 25 will hit store shelves “this summer.”
When it does hit shelves, we’re going to get to see just how involved the Nebraska football program is. One thing we know won’t be in this version are the head coaches. That might put a damper on some people’s plans, though most people will want to be the head coach.
We also know that there are going to be a ton of different uniforms, even if some of them are behind paywalls.
That means Malachi Coleman and his Nebraska football teammates will be dressed to the nines.
