The Nebraska Cornhuskers might not be headed to the College World Series, but there will be one team from the Big Ten representing the conference. The UCLA Bruins took advantage of a surprisingly easier path than they first expected by sweeping UT-San Antonio in the Super Regionals on with a Sunday victory.

The Bruins were one of the two Big Ten teams in the postseason that were knocked off by Nebraska in the Big Ten tournament. Oregon took their loss harder, losing in the regional round despite hosting. UCLA is now headed to Omaha after shifting into another gear after losing in the Big Ten Tournament Championship Game.

Nebraska Cornhuskers looking to seal the deal with Larry Miles ahead of July commitment

On Sunday afternoon, Larry Miles, a 4-star wide receiver announced his commitment date for July 1. That means the Huskers will get his final official visit.

Miles is due to come back to Lincoln on June 20. He previously took an unofficial visit on June 2. Clearly the Nebraska Cornhuskers football team made some serious moves over the last few weeks.

Matt Rhule looking like the favorite to land Kamron Wilson

Larry Miles committing next month wasn’t the only piece of good news the Nebraska football team got on Sunday. They also found out that they are now the front runner to flip Syracuse commit Kamron Wilson.

While nothing is set in stone, On3 analyst Bryan Munson put in a prediction for Wilson to eventually pull the trigger for the Cornhuskers. Now it’s just a matter of making it official.

NFL Legend’s son heads to Lincoln

The Nebraska Cornhuskers football team had a big weekend with lots of visitors for a camp. That included former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb. His son, Donovan McNabb Jr. is a wide receiver in the 2027 class and while he doesn’t have an official offer from the Huskers, that could be coming at any minute after he camped in Lincoln on Sunday.
