The Nebraska football team is going to have a very big weekend later this month including official visits from the Bellevue West receiving corps.
The month of June is going to be a pretty massive one for Nebraska football recruiting. Even if Dylan Raiola is no longer one of the people that’s going to be hitting Lincoln next month. There is one weekend especially that is going to be an absolutely massive recruiting visit weekend. And it just got a little bit bigger.
Since the commitment of quarterback Daniel Kaelin, there’s been more than a few in-state prospects who have noticed the Huskers nabbed their signal caller from the 2024 class. A couple of the guys who have paid special attention are Kaelin’s teammates at Bellevue West. They also happen to be his top targets in the powerful offense.
Now that Kaelin is in the fold, there are few in-state prospects that are higher on the Nebraska football wishlist than wide receivers Isaiah McMorris and Dae’vonn Hall. And now they are both officially going to be in Lincoln for an official visit on the weekend of June 23.
Getting McMorris into the fold especially seems to be a pretty big move for Matt Rhule and company. Of the two receivers, it’s felt as though he’s been looking around quite a bit more. He’s even given the USC Trojans a visit earlier this spring.
Nebraska football locks in visits
Matt Rhule and company have made it very clear they badly want to lock down the state. Getting Kaelin on board seems like it could go a long way towards doing exactly that. After all, he’s already worked on landing the top player in the state in Carter Nelson.
Should the Huskers manage to reel in both McMorris and Hall, it could go a long way towards making an impressive offense. Last season, McMorris notched 90 catches for 1,297 yards and 15 touchdowns. Hall had 62 catches for 974 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Both are currently considered Nebraska football leans. Which has to be seen as good news.
