Yes, hi, it’s me again. A person covering the Nebraska football team writing about Deion Sanders because I can’t look away from the clown show he’s got going on in Boulder. The just can’t stop making it clear just how badly the Huskers need to beat this fall.
It’s not just because they couldn’t beat him last fall. It’s not that NU desperately needs to get off to a 3-0 start in order to show that it really is ready to turn the corner under head coach Matt Rhule.
The Huskers must triumph over “Coach Prime” and the Colorado Buffaloes, not just for their own sake, but for the future of college football. Sanders' tenure has been a circus, and it's time for the show to end. Despite the hype, there’s no evidence he’s beneficial for CU. His only achievement as an FBS coach is attracting the wrong kind of attention to his team.
Nebraska football can do the college sports world a favor against Deion Sanders
It’s not just Deion that needs to depart. The entire Sanders clan, with their disruptive presence, needs to be removed. It’s time to clean house, and a defeat to the Cornhuskers could be the catalyst for their exit.
Whether it’s Shilo Sanders beating a man so badly he won a multi-million dollar lawsuit, or Deion Sanders Jr often acting a clown on social media, or Coach Prime himself, I’m just incredibly tired of hearing about them.
And now that a new story came out that the Buffaloes head coach forced his team to go to a concert to support another son in Shedeur, it’s time to just get Prime out of there.
The latest report has quite a bit of smoke around rumors that a few Buffaloes were indeed chased off the team because they didn’t want to go see Shedeur perform in front of Lil Wayne. Of course, the Sanders clan has denied this report.
They’d have to, wouldn’t they? But it says something that it’s so believable.
Most of all, Nebraska needs to beat Colorado and Coach Prime because it’s the last chance for the foreseeable future. The little 4-game revival of the rivalry ends this year.
Nebraska football is currently 0-3. They need a win for them. They need a win for college football. And they need a win to help get Deion Sanders the hell out of there.
