There may not be a Nebraska football player in the last few years that has seen his stock rise as quickly as Ty Robinson has. Thanks to a fantastic Senior Bowl week and then blowing people away with his speed for his size at the NFL combine, pro teams are taking notice.

Robinson’s popularity is especially on display in the way that players would love to see their popularity grow. He’s become quite a bit more popular in several NFL Mock Drafts.

Nebraska football star defender continues impressing NFL analysts

ESPN just released a 7-round NFL Mock Draft and Matt Miller moved Ty Robinson inside his top 60 prospects earlier this mont.  Now the analyst has predicted Robinson in the second round going to the Carolina Panthers. That would have the Husker defensive lineman going No. 57 overall.

The Nebraska football defender has impressed Miller and the analyst in turn believes Robinson has impressed the Panthers.

"We're going defense again with the Panthers, who finished last in the NFL in points allowed and defensive EPA. Robinson is a big run defender with the athletic tools and strength to develop into a three-down player. At 6-foot-5 and 288 pounds, he has the quickness to play inside and beat guards in the run game but could also be an asset as a big defensive end or 5-technique in a 3-4. Robinson has risen after big performances at the Senior Bowl and combine. He would fit nicely with free-agent signee Tershawn Wharton alongside mainstay Derrick Brown."

Robinson isn’t the only Nebraska football player who will get drafted, according to Miller. The ESPN writer has tight end Thomas Fidone going to the San Francisco 49ers in the 5th round, and defensive back Tommi Hill will go in the 6th round to the Washington Commanders.
