While the Nebraska football still sits on the sidelines for one of the best quarterbacks in the state, Braylen Warren continues to get a ton of interest from Power Conference teams from all over the country.
For a while, the teams that were offering the Omaha Westside quarterback in the 2027 class just seemed like it might be a case of a school being in his back yard. Iowa State and Kansas, as well as Kansas State looked to be almost just poking the Cornhuskers in the ribs. But things are heating up. The SEC is now involved.
When Missouri offered Warren, it still seemed more like an interest in setting up a pipeline and beat Nebraska football on a recruit inside the Huskers’ borders to boot. However, Arkansas making an offer shows that the talented gunslinger is really starting to take off. And yet, Matt Rhule and company appear perfectly happy to sit out this race out.

Nebraska football still sits out race for talented in-state quarterback Braylen Warren
With the Razorbacks coming calling this weekend, the quarterback has some serious interest. In addition to the SEC squad, he has offers from Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Oklahoma State, and South Florida.
There’s a reason why teams are so interested in him. His film looks more impressive the longer you look at it and he had a massive sophomore season for Westside. In the 2024 season, the man who Nebraska football still refuses to issue an offer on, completed 67% of his passes for over 2,100 yards, 30 touchdowns and 8 interceptions according to MaxPreps.
As always, the Huskers seem to be playing a risky game. Or they really aren’t buying in on Warren. That may change when their top target, Trae Taylor pulls the trigger for somewhere else. Should that happen, the Nebraska football offer may come. But it could be too late.
