There's not a single Nebraska football or LSU fan who could claim that the recruiting saga of Ahmad Hudson has been boring. Not only is he one of the best players in the 2027 class, but he's someone who seems genuinely torn about where he wants to go to college. The latest sign that he might be changing his mind about the school that leads has LSU fans up in arms. If his social media accounts are any hint, then Husker fans are about to be elated.

Late Wednesday night, Tiger fans noticed that Hudson had made some pretty interesting changes to both his social media profile pictures and the pictures were displayed on his Instagram account. The first big change is that his PFP is now a photo from Hudson's official visit to Lincoln last weekend. That visit, by the way, wasn't one the general public knew was coming, and it came together quickly.

Ahmad Hudson's big change to his social media could excite Nebraska football fans

The second big change, according to some rather nervous LSU fans, is that he scrubbed his Instagram account of any pictures of himself related to the SEC school. This one is a little harder to get a grip on, considering he still lists himself as a tight end and a player for LSU football and basketball. He also still has his commitment announcement to LSU in his Instagram stories.

So what does all this mean? It could mean nothing. Hudson seems to have a little fun getting the respective fanbases fired up. And he really does seem to be torn on where the best situation for him is. On the other hand, at least one Nebraska fan seemed to offer his own cryptic tease.

LSU fans deeply unhappy about Ahmad Hudson's latest potential tease

Timi Aliu responded to the post, pointing out the changes to Hudson's Instagram account with two emojis, one a side-eye and one a wink. The takeaway from that post was clearly that he either knows or believes he knows the meaning behind the switchup. He could also simply be hoping as much as Nebraska fans are that all of this is a cryptic tease of something coming soon.

It's also worth noting that after the top-rated tight end in the 2027 class took his OV to Nebraska last weekend, LSU wasn't happy about it. That goes against what many Bayou Bengals insiders claimed when the trip was first discovered. When the story broke, the narrative was that Lane Kiffin and Co. knew it was coming and were fine with it. However, once the visit was over, NU insiders said it bothered the SEC school's staff quite a bit.

And then there's the LSU fans' reactions. More than a few believe the changes mean Ahmad Hudson is on his way to committing to the Cornhuskers.

"If he chooses to go ruin his career there, all on him," one LSU fan wrote.

"Let em go, Nebraska is gonna severely overpay, take that 🍞 and go get the best TE available after TreyDez," another posted.

The Ruston, Louisiana, product has offered plenty of positive feedback about Husker head coach Matt Rhule throughout his recruitment. Add in that he wants to play college basketball, and that Fred Hoiberg was involved in his official visit last weekend, and it's clear the door is still very much open for Nebraska. Now it's all about whether he walks through it and spends his days playing in Lincoln.
