Nebraska basketball offers Yankton small forward Matthew Mors
Nebraska basketball continues to be busy when it comes to recruiting for the future of the program.
While the Nebraska football team is getting most of the attention these days, the Nebraska basketball team is making moves. That includes an offer to a rising star in the 2021 class, Matthew Mors.
Mors is a small forward out of Yankton, South Dakota. The prospect, who is still years away from being able to play in college is still getting plenty of attention from power schools.
The Huskers’ offer on Friday night was already his fifth and third form a power conference school. Unsurprisingly, the Cornhuskers aren’t even the first school in the state to offer Mors.
Tim Miles and company are going to have a fight on their hands in landing the small forward with TCU for sure, but they are also going to have to fight off the Creighton Bluejays in order to eventually secure his services.
Mors is one of the more sought-after players in the 2021 class in part because he already stands 6’7″ tall. He’s also got a nice shooting touch and is a plus defender on the ball.

Among his accomplishments in his freshman year of high school basketball was attaining 1,000 career points. Plenty of basketball players are able to reach that level, few are able to do it so early in their high school career.
It’s going to be quite a while before the Nebraska basketball team is going to know whether or not Matthew Mors is going to be a Husker.
