While the Week 1 AP Top 25 rankings are mostly just getting into the habit for voters through the rest of the season, there might be some movement despite there only being one team in the rankings playing in Week 0.
For the most part, the newest AP Top 25 will still be more about what the voters believe will happen in the rest of the season. There's no chance Nebraska could somehow get into the rankings. Nor will it get any votes, since the Huskers didn't receive any in the AP Preseason rankings. There's also the point that NU will need to prove themselves with at least a 5-0 start before they sniff the rankings.
That doesn't mean that other Big Ten teams won't be ranked. The conference has a ton of teams in the rankings. Unfortunately, quite a few of those teams are on Nebraska's schedule.

The Big Ten is the unfortunate victim in the Week 1 AP Top 25 predictions
USC is the only team in the AP Top 25 that played in Week 0 and while the Trojans won, they didn't play all that well. The offense was great as it was supposed to be. However, Lincoln Riley has long had an issue putting together a defense. It seems as though that might still be a problem considering his squad gave up 26 points to a team that isn't particularly good.
USC entered this week tied with BYU at No. 14. While the Trojans aren't going to suffer much punishment, especially because they were the only ranked team that played, there might be a punishment of some kind.
This week, the "punishment" will likely be that they'll no longer with tied with the Cougars and drop to No. 15 in the new rankings. That might not sound like that big a deal (and it's not) this early in the season, but it is another full rung of the ladder if they want to position themselves well for the College Football Playoff.
The Big Ten then becomes the only conference that saw any movement at all. Granted, the B1G can drown its sorrows knowing that Ohio State is still ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in the country. This week, things will get a lot more interesting in the coming weeks. For now, we can all point and laugh at USC somehow making fools of themselves right off the bat.
