Nebraska quarterback commit Trae Taylor has done a lot for Nebraska already, not only with his early commitment back in May of 2025 for the Class of 2027, but also in trying to get other recruits to Lincoln. Taylor has spoken very highly about Nebraska since choosing the Cornhuskers so early in his recruitment.

Taylor is currently trying to get five-star tight end Ahmad Hudson to Lincoln with his latest social media post. Hudson has shown some interest in the Cornhuskers and even made a post showing himself in Nebraska colors, wondering how everyone would react if he picked the Cornhuskers.

Taylor shared the post and talked about how he and Hudson have been talking about playing on the same team for years, and Taylor is actually the reason Hudson took a visit to Nebraska. Taylor asked Hudson to trust him again by picking the Cornhuskers.

A commitment from 5-star TE Ahmad Hudson would be huge for Nebraska's offense

"You trusted me enough to come visit Nebraska, now trust me when I say it’s on a different level if you become one of us," Taylor said in his post.

Hudson is a highly recruited tight end right now, especially for the Class of 2027. He is currently ranked the No. 19 player in the Class of 2027, the No. 1 tight end in the class, and the No. 2 player in the state of Louisiana, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

Hudson is a dynamic pass catcher, and it sounds like he and Taylor, who at this point could be a strong future quarterback for Nebraska, will make a good duo. Hudson is certainly teasing a Nebraska commitment a lot with the post he made. That could really boost what is already looking like a strong 2027 recruiting class for the Cornhuskers.
