Nebraska football QB commit shows excitement over potential WR flip

As the days roll on and the pressure mounts on Isaiah Mozee, it certainly seems as though the Oregon wide receiver commit is leaning hard towards flipping to the Nebraska football program. Now it’s just about closing the deal.

Should the Huskers end up closing the deal, it’s not hard to imagine that the Cornhuskers current 2025 quarterback commit is among the most excited. After all, when TJ Lateef does finally arrive in Lincoln, he’s going to want to have plenty of targets to throw to.

Not only that, but it’s been clear for a while that the Nebraska football quarterbacks have been a big draw for Mozee. That obviously means guys like Heinrich Haarberg, Dylan Raiola and Daniel Kaelin, but it also means the guy who will be there the same year that the Kansas City receiver arrives on campus.

As things seemingly move closer and closer to Mozee deciding he’d rather play in Lincoln than Eugene, Lateef seems to be getting more and more excited. He even made sure to quote tweet a post where yet another analyst picked Mozee to flip.

Lateef included a small caption, with GBR as well as the “home” emoji and a corn cob.

The 4-star quarterback would obviously love to throw some bombs to the 4-star wide receiver should they both come to Nebraska but things aren’t a done deal yet.

On the other hand, the california prospect has also been vocal about how much he wants to be a leader and a peer recruiter.

He’ll almost certainly keep the pressure up on the prospect, who already has plenty of pressure considering th Nebraska football team just hired his father Jamar as an assistant coach. At the moment, it appears that only David Sanders Jr is getting more pressure to commit to the Huskers.
