While the Nebraska football program hasn't had a commit in a little while now, there's no denying that Matt Rhule and company are very, very good at this part of their job. They had a surprisingly good recruiting class just a few months after his arrival in Lincoln in his first year. His second year saw a Top 25 class, and Top 20 if you talk to some people.

One of the reasons the Huskers have had so much success so quickly under Matt Rhule is because he comes off as a genuine person. He comes off as someone who genuinely loves his job and who genuinely loves the University of Nebraska, even if he's only been around the place for a little over a year.

That love for the Nebraska football program isn't just seen by the fans and the media. Players and recruits see it too. And that attitude has won over one of the best wide receivers in the 2025 class. Isaiah Mozee likes what he's seen and heard from the staff since they started talking to him.

The Top100 receiver recently told Tom Loy of 247Sports that the "real" and "genuine" approach to his recruitment has caught his eye. Now the Huskers need to really work on finding a way for the #10 receiver in the class to really give Lincoln a look.

247Sports has Mozzee ranked as the 87th best player in the entire class. The wide receiver is also the top player in the state of Missouri. While it was easier to go into the Show Me State when the Cornhuskers and Tigers did battle every year,

On3 believes that the Nebraska football team has a shot. Though at the moment, it's about a two percent chance. But now that they've got Mozee's attention, things can only go up from here.
