Nebraska has a chance to make all but one person on College GameDay eat their words

Just ahead of the Nebraska football game against the Michigan Wolverines, Pat McAfee became the living embodiment of one of the great internet memes of all time: "Heartbreaking, the worst person you know just made a great point."

On Saturday morning, the ESPN crew went through their usual tradition of every expert on the panel picking who would win the big games of the day. When the group got to predicting the Huskers vs Wolverines, it should surprise no one that the majority of the group picked the No. 21 team in the country.

However, there was one holdout. Pat McAfee might be the most obnoxious person on television today. He might seem like a clown who relies far too much on a schtick that got old about five minutes after he unveiled it, but he did (hopefully) get one thing right on Saturday. He was the only one who picked the Nebraska football team to pull off the upset and open the Big Ten slate with a big win.

The problem is that McAfee hasn't been right very often this season. He's mainly been bad when he's picking the underdog to pull off an upset. He thought Wisconsin would cover the spread against Alabama. He predicted West Virginia to upset Pitt.

The law of averages says he's got to get one right sooner or later. What better time to finally look like he knows what he's talking about than when he's picking the Nebraska football team to beat Michigan and get their first win over a Top 25 team in nearly a decade?
