It was a big enough win on Thursday when the Nebraska football team hauled in one of the best quarterbacks in the 2027 class. Trae Taylor's having already started working on peer recruiting is a serious bonus.

Taylor has already been busy. First, he got into a bit of a row with a rival quarterback for the way he handled his commitment, and then eventually showed he had more class than the veteran signal caller when he immediately apologized.

Now, Taylor is using social media to let Nebraska football targets know they need to end up in Lincoln. Considering how much work he’s doing already, it’s a safe bet he’s doing plenty behind the scenes as well.

Among the prospects Taylor has singled out are some of the best of the best. On one post involving the top ranked athlete in the 2027 class, Myson Johnson-Cook Taylor sent out a feeler on getting the stud prospect to Lincoln to take a visit.

Taylor also set his sights on the top TE prospect in the 2027 class, who just happens to also be quite the basketball prospect, Ahmad Hudson. Hudson is still working on narrowing down his favorite teams and Nebraska are in the running.

The newest Husker commit has officially launched his campaign to get NU included in whatever cutdown Hudson eventually makes.

While it’s still very early and the results are obviously not in yet, Taylor has made it clear he’s going to work to add the best players in the class to the Nebraska football commitment list. It’s hard to see in negative for Matt Rhule and the Huskers moving forward.
