The Nebraska football team hasn’t scored a commitment yet this year, but it feels as if things are starting to ramp up rather quickly as we head closer to the summer. The Huskers have had a lot of high profile unofficial visits in the last few weeks and for the most part, it seems as if those visits went very, very well.
2027 quarterback Trae Taylor has gotten the most attention. The quarterback position always does. But there’s another prospect who was apparently quite impressed with what the Nebraska Cornhuskers had to offer on a very recent official visit and now Matt Rhule and company are sitting very pretty.
Titan Davis, a 4-star defensive lineman out of DeSmet, Missouri just came to Lincoln to see what the Nebraska football team looked like up close and personal. Not only was he impressed by what he saw, but fresh off that visit, Davishas already locked down an official visit.
Nebraska football jumps to front of the pack for 4-star DL Titan Davis
The defensive star, who is considered the No. 2 player in Missouri and No. 8 defensive lineman in the entire 2026 class according to On3’s Industry Rankings is due to come back for an official visti with the Nebraska Cornhuskers on June 13 - June 15.

There’s even more good news for NU. On3’s RPM machine now has the Huskers as the slim favorite to land Davis’ commitment. Matt Rhule and his staff are now given a 30% chance of getting the pledge. They jumped over Alabama, who now has an 18% chance.
So far, there aren’t any analysts putting in official predictions, but things are very much moving in the right direction for the Nebraska football team and Titan Davis.
