The Nebraska football team is aiming high when it comes to its 2026 recruiting class. And in aiming high, the Huskers are going hard after weapons that could help Dylan Raiola and whoever comes after him put together an offense that others should be worried about.

The Huskers have been going after some portal additions in order to bolster their wide receiver room. But they’re also looking for some pretty talented high school players. And now that includes Nalin Scott.

The Nebraska football team offered the 4-star wide receiver last week. And in the process, the Cornhuskers got in the fight for a Georgia pass catcher who is going to have plenty of big time programs vying for his services all the way up to signing day next December.

Scott is a 6-3, 200-pound prospect at McEachern High School in Powder Springs, Georgia. His offer list now includes Nebraska, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Auburn, Tennessee, and many, many more.

One interesting aspect of this situation is that the Huskers seem to be joining the fray pretty late in the process. 2026 prospects tend to get official offers from schools who are interested well before the same year they can sign.

The Nebraska football team will have its work cut out for sure. But one has to wonder if they’ve already got more than their foot in the door if they’re even bothering to make the offer at this point.
