The Nebraska football team had a very successful 2025 recruiting cycle, and it turns out that wasn't just because of the talent it brought in.

Winning and losing are always the most important when talking about sports, but there's always fun to be had as well. And there isn't anything more fun than looking at the names of players who are signing up to play in front of tens of thousands of fans.

In honor of that little bit of fun, On3 recently put together its annual "All Name Team." Earlier this week, it announced that one Nebraska football signee was among those with the best names in the entire 2025 class.

No, the Huskers don't have a name that's quite a unique's as Samford's Cannon Pigg, or Houston's Blake Hogshooter. But it appears that the Cornhuskers landing Shawn Hammerbeck still got them on the list.

Hammerbeck, who is also a plenty impressive commit even outside of his name - Hammerbeck could be on the offensive or defensive line and also plays basketball and Track and Field. - is on quite the list when you take a look at the players that also made the All Name list.

In addition to the aforementioned Pigg and Hogshooter, the rest of the team is made up of San Jose State's Sirr Bible, Ohio's Hype Grand, Oregon's Vander Ploog, Virginia Tech's Shamarius Peterkin, North Carolina's Demon June, Arizona's Javian Goo, Illinois' Grant Beerman, and Kansas State's Serious Stinyard.

Now that the Nebraska football signee has gotten his name mentioned as one of the best of the best, here's hoping he can turn into one of the best of the best freshmen this fall.
