It's safe to say that Luke Sorensen is glad to have his recruitment over. One of the newest Nebraska football commits is taking it easy and enjoying himself now that summer has started and he's picked his school.
Sorensen also makes it clear on social media that he's very excited to be a Husker. That, too, makes sense, considering he was doing some peer recruiting even before he announced he'd decided to become a Cornhusker.
Huskers 4-star TE commit Luke Sorensen flaunts Nebraska pride during summer golf outing
The latest sign that the 4-star tight end is happy to be a member of the Nebraska football team's 2026 recruiting class came from a post over the weekend when he was enjoying some rest and relaxation. The California prospect recently hit the links and got some golfing in. Even while he was trying to figure out what club to use, he was thinking about the Huskers and eventually joining the program.
Great day of golf, even better when I’m committed to Husker football!! GBR pic.twitter.com/G4j9OEBmKv

"Great day of golf," Sorensen wrote on X. "Even better when I'm committed to Husker football!! GBR"
Sorensen, the latest commit, has made it clear that he loves being a part of the Nebraska program. That's been one of the things that's stood out for this particular group. They haven't been shy to make it clear; they are excited to be part of the movement and advertise it in a way that some recruits never do for any school.
It's a different kind of peer recruiting. It's the kind that isn't quite as direct. But Nebraska football targets are going to see these guys truly loving that they're part of the program now. And fans of course, will also see a group of kids like Trae Taylor and Luke Sorensen very, very excited to take their next football career steps.
