Did Luke Sorensen just confirm his Nebraska commitment days early?

It sure sounds like the 3-star tight end is committing to the Cornhuskers.

Three-star tight end Luke Sorensen took his official visit to Lincoln, Nebraska, about two weeks ago, and since then, it doesn't seem like he is interested in any other schools. Sorensen seemed to love his visit to Nebraska so much, he cancelled his official visit that he was set to take to Penn State this past weekend.

Sorensen was seen commenting on a fellow prospect's social media about where "home" is with a corn emoji attached. Kasen Thomas is a target for Nebraska football and even had his official visit with the Cornhuskers the same weekend as Sorensen. Thomas took his official visit to Iowa State this past weekend, and when posting photos in the uniform, Sorensen made a comment that might have just leaked where he plans on committing in a few days.

Sorensen left a comment saying:

"yk (you know) where home is quit playin"

After that, there was the corn emoji suggesting that "home" is with the Cornhuskers. Sorensen was technically saying that is where his home is, but it would seem strange to say that if he wasn't planning on committing to Nebraska in a few short days.

Sorensen set his commitment date for June 20, and it seems Nebraska is the favorite to land the 3-star tight end, and Sorensen might have just confirmed that with the post on social media.

If Sorensen commits to Nebraska, he would be just the seventh player in the class of 2026 for Nebraska after offensive lineman Hayden Ainsworth announced both his commitment to the Cornhuskers and his reclassification to join Nebraska a year early.

Nebraska could really use a solid pass-catcher like Sorensen for Raiola in the future, especially a big body tight end that can both block and run routes well. While it isn't confirmed, it seems Sorensen will be rocking red next year, but all will come to light later this week.
