When the month of July comes to a close, the Nebraska football team looks to be on much better footing recruiting wise than it even is now. And the team has already taken several steps forward. However, with offense linemen Claude Mpouma predicted to pick the Huskers on Monday and offensive tackle Leon Noil Jr. picking soon as well, Donovan Raiola especially could be doing a bit of a boogy by the end of the summer.

Noil has been chosen to select the Huskers by Rivals’ Sam Spiegelman and he becomes just the latest talented offensive lineman who is expected to end up in Lincoln. The Huskers have had a rough go of getting commits in the 2026 class, until the last few weeks when commits started pouring in. Now it looks like they might be roaring into the Top 25 by the time signing day rolls around.

Nebraska football favored for July 7 offensive tackle commitment from Leon Noil Jr.

Rivals now has Leon Noil Jr. a 91.8% chance to land with the Nebraska football team with Mississippi State being a very distant second place. It appears that most recruiting analysts believe he’ll be a Husker when he does pull the trigger.

He is ranked a three-star prospect by rivals.com and 247 Sports. He plays at Edna Carr High School in New Orleans. Noil is 6-foot-5, 265 pounds. After his June 12 official visit to Nebraska, Noil said the visit was “perfect," according to On3sports network.

Noil took official visits to his three finalists in June — June 6 at Baylor and June 20 at Mississippi State. He’ll announce his commitment - most likely to the Nebraska football team -  on July 7.
