Nebraska football recruiting has been on a bit of a roll lately, even if the Huskers haven’t managed to lock down any commits of late.
Matt Rhule and his coaches have been working hard to get as many talented prospects into Lincoln as often as possible. With the Husker Games coming up this weekend, NU will look to use the weekend as a big recruiting tool, even if the Spring Game isn’t the spectacle it once was.
Nebraska aims to flip 4-star linebacker during Husker Games visit
According to Rivals, four-star Miami linebacker commit Jordan Campbell will be back at Nebraska this weekend. The coaching staff will try and show that their new look defense is something that Campbell should see himself in, even if he’s already pledged to another school.
Campbell is the No. 15 player in the state of Florida, the No. 7 linebacker in the class and the No. 125 player overall in the 2026 cycle according to On3’s industry rankings.
The 4-star prospect is one that has shown time and again to be a heck of an athlete. In high school, he’s played effectively on both sides of the ball as a linebacker and wide receiver. However, he projects to be playing on defense at the next level.
He’s also someone who has speed to burn, with a track background and personal bests of 11.25-100, 22.96-200m as a freshman.
This also isn’t the first time that Campbell has come to see what Nebraska has to offer and one of the things that stood out to him on his first visit was that the Husker coaches paid a ton of attention to him, despite having other highly touted prospects on campus.
Jordan Campbell will now get another look at what Lincoln has to offer at what is the unofficial end of Nebraska football’s spring practice. Then, it’s anyone’s ball game.
