The Nebraska football team is on a bit of a roll lately when it comes to recruiting the 2026 class. While the commits haven’t started rolling in just yet, the Huskers are lining up some very big visit weekends for later this spring and early summer.

Defensive back Dominic Turnbull happens to be one of the talented players lined up to come to Lincoln in June.

Nebraska football hosting 4-star corner in June

Getting Turnbull into town is the first step, for the Nebraska football team. The next will be fighting off Power conference teams vying for his services.

Turnbull announced on social media that he’s planning on seeing what the Huskers have to offer on an official visit on June 13 to June 15. He’s one of the only defenders that are coming into town during that period.

At the moment, it appears this is one of the first official visits that have been locked in. And while he’s checked out several campuses in 2024, it looks like NU has a leg up.

Dominic Turnbull at the top of the list for Nebraska football

Turnbull is the latest prospect that the Nebraska football program has been having success with from the Miami, Florida area. Hailing from the True North Classical Academy, he’s a 3-star prospect with 20 offers at the moment, and growing.

Last year, the corner racked up 25 tackles and 23 PBUs in 12 games as a junior for a team that made Florida's 1A playoffs. He’s also got a nice pedigree, being the son of former NFL defender Nick Turnbul who played with the Atlanta Falcons, Chicago Bears and Cincinnati Bengals.

Dominic Turnbull’s planned visit to see the Nebraksa football program first hand on an official visit is a big step for Matt Rhule and company. Now they need to start working on getting him to commit when he does come to Lincoln.
