Nebraska football continues to put the "bad taste" of the 2026 recruiting class in the rearview mirror with the way the coaching staff has attacked the 2027 cycle. That could be demonstrated again in the very near future should Corey Hadley, one of the best safeties in the country, pull the trigger on a Husker commit.
On Wednesday evening, Hadley scheduled a trip to see the Huskers up close and personal on March 12. The unofficial visit isn't guaranteed to deliver a commitment from the 4-star safety out of Sandy Creek, Georgia. However, Rivals analyst Bryan Munson entered an official prediction for Matt Rhule and his staff to get the defender's pledge.
Hadley is currently ranked as the No. 8 safety in the 2027 class, the No. 10 player in Georgia, and the No. 89 player in the entire class by the Rivals Industry Rankings. 247Sports has its rankings very close to that as well.
Corey Hadley trending toward Nebraska football after new Rivals prediction
In other words, should the Huskers manage to land the safety, it would add a very talented player to a class that already has Nebraska in the Top 10 classes in the country so far.
The fight for Corey Hadley is far from over, even with Munson's prediction. The defender has plenty of Power 4 offers, including Ole Miss, Georgia Tech, Georgia, Alabama, UCF, Texas A&M, and Notre Dame. Despite those big schools coming calling for him, Nebraska has made some serious progress in his recruiting. There has to be a chance that he'll commit after his unofficial visit next week.
