Nebraska football commit among the nation's leaders in rushing
When Conor Booth first committed to the Nebraska football team, he was an under-the-radar running back prospect out of Bishop Neumann. He was also just the third commit in the 2025 class. Now he looks like he might be one of the steals of the class for any team.
Booth has been running over, around, and through defenders for the entirety of the 2024 season. He’s set several records, though is still overshadowed somewhat because his highschool isn’t exactly one of the big dynasties of the state.
However, Booth is still showing off just how good he is and could be when he is officially a part of the Nebraska football team. Booth is currently not only among the top running backs in the country, but he’s very high up on the list.
Nebraska football commit Conor Booth among best in the country
Among the class of 2025 runningbacks, Booth is currently third in rushing yards. And he’s just nine yards behind the No. 2 yardage back. He’s also second in the country in rushing touchdowns and just two TDs behind the nation’s leader in rushing scores.
The leaders shape up with some impressive numbers:
- Alvin Henderson (Elba, AL) - 2625 yards, 46 TD
- Zayden Cook (Chattooga, GA) - 2423 yards, 27 TD
- Conor Booth (Bishop Neumann, NE) - 2414 yards, 44 TD
- Cole Allen (St. John’s, TX) - 2351 yards, 40 TD
- Jayden Griffin (Dora, AL) - 2342 yards, 33 TD
That he’s in a group that has put up eyepopping numbers is one thing. But the kind of schools that are snapping these running backs up also stand out.
Chief among them is Alvin Henderson, who committed to Auburn this summer over schools like Penn State and Auburn. He’s considered the No. 6 back in the 2025 class. The rest of the list have Division 1 schools coming after them, though Cole Allen is the only one who has committed so far, as he’s headed to Harvard.
What’s clear is that Conor Booth continues to shine for the Nebraska football recruiting class. And he could continue to show what a steal he’s been.
