The Nebraska Cornhuskers football team is expecting to have quite the season from its returning quartebrack. Dylan Raiola had himself a rough second half of the 2024 season, not counting the bowl game. The team’s offensive coordinator, Dana Holgorsen thinks he knows why Raiola had some issues and believes he’s fixed them.

Holgorsen believes that Raiola hit a bit of a wall when it came to his development, and while he didn’t blame the offensive coordinator who came before him, it’s clear he believes that was part of the problem.

That makes things interesting since that particular offensive coordinator is still on the Nebraska Cornhuskers staff. Marcus Satterfield got demoted to tight ends coach but is still helping Holgorsen try and figure out the offense. Hopefully, he’ll really help the Nebraska quarterback and offensive coordinator figure out how to correc the problems and make Dylan Raiola one of the best QBs in college football.

Nebraska Cornhuskers manage to flip Nalin Scott from Arizona State

The Nebraska football team has been having a very good little run on the recruiting front. That run includes managing to flip 4-star wide receiver Nalin Scott. The wideout had been committed to the Arizona Sun Devils for quite a while.

However, he’s now given his pledge to the Huskers and it’s all about making sure they get to December’s signing day with him still in two. The good news here is it seems as though they’ve really laid the ground work.

Brice Williams gets his shot at the NBA

While Nebraska Cornhuskers superstar Brice Williams didn’t get drafted, he will get to show the Detroit Pistons and the NBA what he can do. That’s because he signed a contract with the Pistons and will get a chance to get another one that lasts the entire season.

The former Nebraska Cornhuskers star signed with Detroit just one day after the draft ended. There was a chance he was going to be selected but once he wasn’t, he it took no time at all for a team to give him a shot.
