The Nebraska Cornhuskers continue to go through staff changes this winter. This week, the Huskers officially named Brett Maher and Nick Humphrey as the team's co-special teams coordinators. It was thought for a little while that the staff was complete.
However, on Wednesday afternoon, it turned out that Matt Rhule will need to find another safeties coach. Miles Taylor has left NU for the Baltimore Ravens.
As it turns out, Taylor left the Nebraska Cornhuskers after just about a month of being on the staff. It's definitely less than ideal, though Rhule has said that he will be working to replace the assistant as soon as possible.
The Nebraska Cornhuskers are trying to flip a Pitt WR commit
Matt Rhule and his crew have had quite a bit of success so far when it comes to recruiting the 2027 class. That includes checking in on Pitt commit Jacob Thomas. He's currently solid for the Panthers, but there might be some room to pry him away. This is something to keep an eye on.
Roger Craig gets into the Hall of Fame
It's been a long road for former Nebraska running back Roger Craig. It's also been a long wait. However, reports surfaced on Wednesday that he finally got enough votes to make the NFL Hall of Fame. Among other things, Craig was the first NFL player to ever run for 1,000 and post 1,000 receiving yards in the same season.
