The Nebraska Cornhuskers basketball team played its first game in a couple of weeks, and the team looked like it had a little too much time off in the first half. However, in the second half, the Huskers apparently realized they were playing a pretty bad Arizona State team.

Meanwhile, Matt Rhule started a debate about whether or not he’s got “rizz” or is just a cringey old man dancing on social media.

Nebraska Cornhuskers rally for CBC win

The Nebraska basketball team managed to rally for a win in the first round of the CBC tournament on Monday night thanks to a 56-40 deficit over the Arizona State Sun Devils in the second half. Entering the break losing 38-30, it seemed like the Huskers were dead in the water.

However, Brice Williams scored 30 points and Connor Essgian added 17 as the Nebraska basketball team was able to knock off Bobby Hurley’s squad and advance to the second round to take on the Georgetown Hoyas on Wednesday night at 9:30pm.

Matt Rhule does the TikTok

The internet briefly exploded on Monday afternoon when Nebraska Cornhuskers volleyball star Harper Murray once again took to social media, this time alongside football head coach Matt Rhule to do a little dance and show a little rizz.

The reactions to the video were numerous with many Husker fans loving it and many opposing fanbases hating its very existence. You can watch it below and see how you feel about it, but the man knows his audience.

Spring game replacement ideas

A report also started circulating over the internet about a long list of ideas that AD Troy Dannen and company worked on to replace the scrimmage that will no longer take place in 2025. That list is odd; it includes a visit by Donald Trump for reasons that aren’t clear and a kind of fairground approach where fans and players would take part in games like a dunking booth.

Perhaps the list was circulated to show everyone that the real replacement ideas were absolutely the best.

Nebraska football is trending for a big defensive line prospect

Late on Monday afternoon, the Nebraska Cornhuskers managed to line up an official visit with one of the best defensive line prospects in the 2026 class. Titan David, in fact, just came off an unofficial visit with the Huskers and is returning in June. That’s why several analysts believe Rhule’s crew are now the front runners to secure Davis’ commitment sooner, rather than later.
