Longtime Nebraska Cornhuskers antagonist PJ Fleck made headlines over the weekend when his Minnesota Golden Gophers upset the Washington Huskies. However, it wasn't the win that really got the attention; it was when he ran up to a player who was bleeding, smeared the blood on his hand, and then used the bloody hand to smear that blood on his own face.

• Fleck walked through that moment with Paul Allen during an appearance today on KFAN. "For some reason, I thought it was best to take his blood and put it on my face and be blood brothers in that moment," Fleck said on Tuesday morning.

• Fleck also claimed he did society a favor in the strangest way possible. "It also gives some attention to the American Red Cross, who declared a national blood crisis last summer, so go out and give blood. The Big Ten are part of the We Give Blood drive, and we are in 11th place in that Minnesota, so we need to pick it up. How about that?"

• One of the biggest continued Husker target Ahmad Hudson keeps racking up honors and accolades. The 5-star tight end and power forward hasofficially been invited to participate in this October's USA Basketball Mini Camp.

• After Oregon quarterback Dante Moore suffered a serious concussion when he was sliding after getting a first down against USC, head coach Matt Rhule talked about how Anthony Colandrea is trying to avoid injury. However, Rhule said sliding and running out of bounds won't always protect the quarterback, so Colandrea will just keep being himself and hope he doesn't get hurt.

• Nebraska Cornhuskers fans who were hoping to find out about injuries to Jamal Rule and Jacory Barney on Monday will have to wait until Wednesday night. Head coach Matt Rhule said that from now on, he won't be giving injury updates outside the expanded Big Ten injury reports. In the process, he's following the trend by other conference coaches.
