Nebraska basketball's 57-52 loss to Iowa was a bad one. It was, in fact, the worst loss of the season. What happened after the game was more ugly than bad, but it wasn't a good look for a coach who was clearly frustrated by the Hawkeyes fans storming the court and getting in Fred Hoiberg's face.
As Rienk Mast said after the game, it says something about where the Huskers are at this season that Iowa fans rushed the court after the win. It also says something about Hawkeyes fans that one of them decided it was perfectly acceptable to get into Hoiberg's face while recording him as he walked off the court.
The Nebraska head coach was clearly unhappy that the fan was in his face and, in a second of anger, smacked the camera down. It's one of those things that Hoiberg was justified in doing; Iowa shouldn't have allowed anyone to get that close to him.

Nebraska basketball coach Fred Hoiberg reacts to fan confrontation after Iowa loss
Still, it's also one of those things that Hawkeyes fans are going to point to as sour grapes for a long, long time.
It's also another rather frustrating chapter in a rivalry in both sports that has been decidedly one-sided since the fateful day that a Husker AD pronounced he didn't want to sink to the likes of Iowa.
The good news is that the biggest reason why the loss was the ugliest of the season is that it was the only time all year NU has lost to a team outside the Top 15. It helps that the only loss to an unranked team is also a loss to a squad that is 19-7.
Nebraska also gets a chance at revenge to end the season. Still, Fred Hoiberg's ugly moment after the game is making its way around social media and doesn't make the Huskers look great in the moment.
