Nebraska suffered its worst loss of the season when it fell to Minnesota 24-6 on Friday night. That is saying a lot as it was just the second loss of the season, but this game meant something as the Cornhuskers had just made it back into the AP Top 25 at No. 25, but it was short-lived after the loss to the Golden Gophers.

Head coach Matt Rhule was extremely displeased with how his team played, and even quarterback Dylan Raiola was unhappy with things, but he took the blame on his shoulders. Rhule, as the head coach, is taking ownership for how the game against Minnesota went, but he was still unhappy with his team.

Matt Rhule felt his team was entitled going into the game vs. Minnesota

In his press conference this week, previewing Nebraska's matchup against Northwestern this week, Rhule, of course, was still answering questions about the Minnesota game. Rhule certainly wasn't happy about his team still, even a few days later.

One thing that Rhule is over is the entitlement of his players, especially after receiving their Top 25 ranking. Coming into the game, it seemed like the Cornhuskers thought it would be easy against Minnesota, and when it was 6-7 at halftime, they were disappointed with how the game was going, according to Rhule.

"Every team is going to be ready to play us," Rhule said. "I'm just tired of that entitlement of 'oh this will be easy.' Who are we?"

Rhule said he feels his team is a lot better when they are playing with a chip on their shoulder, playing tough and gritty. It really seemed like Nebraska overlooked Minnesota, and they paid for it.

"I don't want to come here and blame anybody," Rhule said. "I want my team to know, we all have to be better this week."

Rhule simply wants everyone to play better because he knows that the program adn the fanbase deserve better than what they watched on Friday night, even calling it ridiculous. It is clear that Rhule isn't just letting his guys get away with playing the way they did against Minnesota.
