Is the Nebraska football program about to land one of the better wide receivers in the class? It certainly appears that Matt Rhule is about to not only land Kohen Brown, but he may do so not long after the Waxahachie, Texas product was committed to the conference rival.

Brown was committed to the USC Trojans not all that long ago, but he decided it would be interesting to see who else was out there. For a time, it seemed as if he was destined to head to Notre Dame. However, as time passes, he might have other teams in mind.

According to On3, Brown is now favored to join the Nebraska football team. The Irish are now a close second. Of course, it's hard to know exactly how this is figured since no expert has given an actual prediction.

It appears that the experts feel that Matt Rhule and company are making a move. In fact, it is a two-team race for the speedy wide receiver at this point.

On3 has the Huskers with a 34.6% chance of getting Kohen Brown. The Irish are in second with a 30.3% chance of winning this two-horse race. The only other team within shouting distance for the 3-star wideout is SMU, with a 9.2% chance of winning his commitment.

A timeline for Kohen Brown pulling the trigger on an official commitment isn't known. He might take his time because he decommitted from USC just a few days ago. On the other hand, he might be looking at going somewhere like the Nebraska football team quickly, hence his desire to be a free agent.
