Since leaving the Nebraska basketball program, we haven’t heard a ton of Keisei Tominaga. However, as it turns out, the former Husker is going to be surfacing in a big way during the NBA All-Star weekend.
Tominaga was selected to the NBA G League Up Next Game. The former Husker was added to the player pool via the fan vote with a tenth-place finish in the player vote. The game will be part of the NBA All-Star Weekend 2025 in San Francisco. It will take place on Sunday, February 16, at NBA Crossover in the Moscone Center.
The pool for the Up Next Game includes 28 total players split into four teams of seven. This includes ten players selected by Fan Voting (Yuki Kawamura of the Memphis Hustle, Justin Champagnie of the Capital City Go-Go, Jahlil Okafor of the Indiana Mad Ants, Adama Sanogo of the Windy City Bulls, Skal Labissiere of the Stockton Kings, Kevon Harris of the College Park Skyhawks, Maozinha Pereira of the Memphis Hustle, Trevelin Queen of the Osceola Magic, Armando Bacot of the Memphis Hustle) join the former Nebraska basketball star.

The former Husker will also go up against more than a dozen players who made the game based on the league’s understanding of their performances.
The game will allow for Keisei to get a big stage again, really for the first time since playing for Japan and ending his time with the Nebraska basketball team.
