Nebraska Football: All signs point to an imminent offensive line commit
The Nebraska football team looks like it’s about to add to an already really good 2024 recruiting class as experts all think Grant Brix is a big lean to NU.
Anyone who has paid attention to Nebraska football’s recruiting of Grant Brix might compare it to a soap opera or a roller coaster. Or any other cliche that involves lots of emotional investment, excitement and ups and downs.
However, as National Signing Day barrels towards us, it looks like the Huskers are once again in the driver’s seat. While things can certainly change for the worse, because they have before with Brix, having this many recruiting experts agreeing on the 4-star offensive lineman’s lead can only be seen as a good thing.
In fact, there’s been enough people weighing in on where they think Brix will commit in the last few days that it feels as though a commitment might be imminent. Perhaps even right before, or right after the Iowa Hawkeyes game.
Should the Nebraska football team win on Saturday, Grant Brix’s commitment could be the cherry on the cupcake, considering the Hawkeyes were one of the teams the Cornhuskers were vying for the recruit against in the early going.
Nebraska football bracing for new commit from Grant Brix
On Tuesday, two 247Sports experts both entered Crystal Balls in favor of the Huskers. Those experts were Steve Wiltfong, and Kansas State expert Ryan Wallace. For a time, it looked like the Wildcats were the team to beat.
On the same day, (that seems rather newsworthy) four Rivals experts all logged their own predictions for the Cornhuskers to land the 4-star prospect.
Not wanting to be left out in the cold, On3 now says that Nebraska football has a 93.5 percent chance to get Brix to commit. Looking at all that, and the fact that seven different experts all decided the same thing on the same day, keep a close on eye this situation for the next few days.
