Malachi Coleman has made no secret about his wish to give back to those who haven’t been given some of the breaks he has and a new book helps do that.

When it comes to Nebraska football, there are all kinds of interesting NIL deals for Husker players. There’s the air conditioning deal that Nash Hutmacher struck. There was the John Deere contract struck with Jeff Sims.

And now, Malachi Coleman has announced one of the more interesting NIL deals around anywhere. The Nebraska football wide receiver is launch a brand new children’s book titled, “Fly Like Chi.”

The book is put together with efforts from Coleman himself and Exit 56 Publications. The company is one that has teamed with several college athletes to make these kinds of fun little children’s books.

For Malachi Coleman’s edition, it’s the story that tells his life. The story that tells about everything that led up to him joining the Nebraska football program. That includes going through the foster care program before he found the love family that helped raise him.

Coleman even has Nebraska football great Tom Osborne write a foreword in “Fly Like Chi.” It appears to be a real labor of love, rather than something that is geared towards the wide receiver making money for himself.

Nebraska football great launches new endeavor

One of the things that makes Malachi Coleman’s NIL deals so interesting and so inspiring is that he puts his money where his mouth is. In fact, he doesn’t do all that much talking. But when he gets that money, it tends to go to work.

It’s likely that the “Fly Like Chi” book is going to be like the rest of the NIL endeavors Coleman has done. In doing so, he’ll continue to do Nebraska football proud, while he works to lead them back to greatness.
