Former Nebraska Cornhuskers star Trey Palmer might be about to really go off for the first time in his NFL career. Volleyball won another one, more

When it comes to record-setting former Nebraska Cornhuskers wide receiver Trey Palmer, the last thing opponents want to do is make him angry. But it appears Palmer is indeed angry this morning.

The now Tampa Bay Bucs rookie posted on Twitter on Sunday morning that he woke up that way. This is a tradition that the ex-Nebraska Cornhuskers star was well known for in Lincoln.

It generally meant that he was looking to have himself a big game. That would mean he might be looking to go off on the New Orleans Saints.

It doesn’t always work, but Palmer claiming he woke up angry is generally right before a game. So far this year he has 4 catches for 36 yards and a touchdown. He has yet to post more than 2 catches in any game.

Nebraska Cornhuskers volleyball wins again

John Cook’s squad got off to a rough start on Saturday night. For a bit there, it looked like it would be a massively disappointing night for Nebraska Cornhuskers fans all the way around.

Then the Huskers rallied, stayed undefeated, and avoided a second straight five-set match. After knocking off Purdue on Friday night, they managed to beat the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday.

The (23-25, 25-23, 25-15, 25-19) win over the Hoosiers means that the Nebraska Cornhuskers are now 13-0 and 4-0 in conference. Next up is the Michigan State Spartans and the Michigan Wolverines next Friday and Saturday night.

Nebraska basketball with a big visitor weekend

While the Nebraska football game against Michigan didn’t go as planned, that doesn’t mean the Nebraska Cornhuskers couldn’t still use that weekend for good.

Nebrasketball coach Fred Hoiberg had quite the big recruiting weekend. There were at least eight recruits on campus, including 2024 commit  Nick Janowski.

Most of those visits were unofficial:

  • Noah Boyed – 2024
  • Amare bynum – 2025
  • Braden Frager – 2025
  • Bryson Bahl – 2025
  • Kash Polk -2025
  • Jalen Wilson – 2025
  • TJ Stuttley -2025

The Nebraska Cornhuskers are looking to cash in on a big game and big weekend, just ahead of the basketball season.
