Nebraska Cornhuskers News: Fullback camp, baseball changes, more
The Nebraska Cornhuskers baseball team saw even more changes on Wednesday as Bolt tries to reshape his team and get ready for 2024.
Since the 2023 season ended, Will Bolt has made it very clear in his actions, if not his words, that he knows the way the Nebraska baseball team played down the stretch was not acceptable. He’s already taken quite a few steps to reshape his Nebraska Cornhuskers squad.
Hiring Rob Childress and Mike Sirianni was the first step but it’s hardly the only ones he had up his sleeves. Some of that has been recruiting but there’s also been some changes in the actual athletic department. On Wednesday, the changes in the AD involved the departure of Curtis Ledbetter.
Grant Hansen reported on Wednesday evening that while the Huskers haven’t made an official announcement, Ledbetter no longer appears on the Huskers.com page. A source of Hansen’s confirmed the lack of presence on the website is the former Husker player’s departure.
It’s yet more reshaping of the baseball program as Bolt tries to make a team that can consistently make run towards the postseason
