Scott Frost had a very bad Friday on Social media and Nebraska football fans had jokes.
The former Nebraska football head coach apparently had his Twitter account hacked. It was a hack that has happened to other celebrities over the years. It seems innocent enough, if more than a little weird. After all, why would Scott Frost be getting his hands on a bunch of Macbooks and sell them for $600 after he autographed them?
The point of this hack is to try and get popular Twitter users’ followers to DM the hacked accounts financial information. Or just to send them money. However, this exact kind of hack has been going on long enough and is odd enough that people tend to figure out rather quickly that something is up.
Hopefully the former Nebraska football coach’s hack was discovered quickly enough that no one got swindled. One rather obvious side effect of the hack is that Husker fans had a bit of a cathartic episode.

It appears that at some point on Friday, Frost was able to get his Twitter account back into his hands. The posts about selling Macbooks on the cheap has been deleted. And this latest episode is just another indignity in what has been a truly rough last couple of months.
The former Nebraska football coach has left his home state again, likely to try and get a moment’s peace. It appears he’s taken up residence in Arizona, buying himself and his family a mansion in the desert.
There are other signs that at the moment, he’s happier being in the background. Reports are that there have been some schools that have come calling since he was fired by Nebraska. However, other than an odd job here and there, it doesn’t appear he’s ready to return to coaching just yet.
It feels like Nebraska football fans’ reaction to his account getting hacked is a pretty good sign that keeping his head down for now, isn’t a bad idea.
