Nebraska Football vs Wisconsin: Start time, live stream, TV info and more
It’s the last home game for the Nebraska football team which is about as bitter sweet a moment as the program has had for quite some time. On the one hand, Husker fans are going to be cheering on some players for the last time. On the other, it’s going to be the game where the team and fans can really turn the page on the Scott Frost era one more time. This will be the last game in Lincoln before the team has a new permanent head coach.
Who the Nebraska football team will have the new head coach is anyone’s guess. Last week, it seemed like Matt Rhule was nearly a done deal. While some still think it might get done, it’s not nearly as close as once believed.
Conversely, the Wisconsin Badgers are also winding down a season they didn’t want to see coming. Paul Chryst was fired not long after Scott Frost. In his place, Jim Leonhard has taken over and is considered the odds-on favorite to get that job permanently.
However, the Badgers haven’t exactly been dominant under Leonhard. Some believe Wiscy might end up going somewhere else. Those are just some of the storylines that will be at play on Saturday afternoon. There’s also the fact that while the Nebraska football team is not going to a bowl, they can play spoiler and throw a wrench in Wisconsin’s plans for the postseason.
