Nebraska Football: Four Huskers make 2021 Senior Bowl Top 250

Four Nebraska football players were given accolades on Thursday.

Four Nebraska football players were given an honor on Thursday, as they were selected to the 2021 Senior Bowl Top 250 list.

Brendan Jaimes, DiCaprio Bootle, JoJo Domann, and  Deontai Williams were all selected to the list.

Jaimes was a major part of the Nebraska football offensive line last year. He started all 12 games as a junior last season, and was Nebraska’s offensive MVP. He was named to an Honorable-Mention Al Blig 10 team in 2019, as well as to the academic All-Big Ten Team.

Bootle tallied 17 tackles and a forced fumble last season, proving to be a key part of the Nebraska football secondary. As a senior, he figured to be a huge part of the Nebraska football secondary.

After being a leader on the linebacker unit last season, Domann enters the 2020 campaign after putting together a season that saw him record 52 tackles and 2.5 sacks. He was the rock at the linebacker position.

In the meantime Williams is looking to have a rebound season. He made two tackles in the opener against South Alabama, before he left the game in the first half with an injury. Now, he appears to be on a redemption tour, and he has looked good according to his coaches.

This is a solid quartet of Nebraska football players, and all of them should be There are always players that when they leave the program, the impact of their losses are felt enormously. These four would certainly fall under that category.

Once they leave Nebraska, their replacements are going to have big shoes to fill. Luckily for Nebraska football, the coaching staff has done a nice job of recruiting. There should be no shortage of talent in Lincoln.

It will be interesting to see if we will get to see these four play one last time. Whether or not we do, there’s no denying that these four have certainly left their mark on Nebraska football.
