Nebraska recruiting continued its torrid pace on Friday as the Huskers’ coaching staff offered yet another 2019 recruit in Brayden Rohme.

Nebraska recruiting efforts on Friday helped the Huskers land one offensive lineman. The Nebraska football team also offered another lineman in hopes of continuing to pad its o-line.

The Huskers made an offer to Arizona tackle Brayden Rohme. While the Nebraska football team has made some inroads in Arizona when it comes to JUCO players, they haven’t had as much success when it comes to high school players.

It’s possible the program took a step towards remedying that with the offer to Rohme. Interesting enough, Rohme has the same kind of build as Mattew Anderson, the offensive lineman that committed Friday.

Anderson is around 6-6 and weighs in at 250 pounds. At the moment, Rohme stands 6-6 and weighs 260 pounds.

It’s clear Scott Frost and company have a type when it comes to the offensive line. Unlike Anderson, Rohme will be a taller hill to climb since he’s got some bonafide Power 5 offers alongside Nebraska’s.

The offensive tackle currently boasts 17 total offers. Both Rivals and 247Sports have him rated as a three-star prospect but Rivals considered him the 13th best player in the state for the 2019 class. 247Sports has him ranked as the 20th best player in Arizona.

Rivals also has him quite a bit higher when looking at other offensive tackles, as he’s the 74th best lineman in the class. The 247 Composite has him as the 104th best lineman in his class.

What is clear about Brayden Rohme is that he’s someone the Nebraska recruiting efforts are focusing now and will be focusing on in the future. If they are going to win his services, they’ll have to beat off plenty of Pac 12 and Big 12 schools but the Nebraska football team is the only Big Ten school currently vying for his services.
