Nebraska football: Former Husker star makes a move
There have been quite a few former Nebraska football players that have been moving around the NFL during this free agency period.
Another day, another former Nebraska football star making headlines for landing on a new team in the NFL. On Monday night, former Cornhuskers’ linebacker Will Compton signed a new deal with the Tennessee Titans.
Like Niles Paul, Compton entered the league with the ‘Skins and had played his entire NFL career with Washington before signing this new deal.
When wide receiver/ tight end Paul signed his deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Compton went out of his way to make it clear he would miss playing alongside his former Husker teammate.
Compton’s departure also continues what has been a kind of exodus for the Skins as they attempt to rebuild their roster. Compton is also one of at least five former Huskers who have signed brand new deals with brand new teams over the last month.
