Former Nebraska football star Ndamukong Suh might have just picked his new NFL team.

Ndamukong Suh has been enjoying the free agency season. The former Nebraska football star has been traveling to and fro, visiting teams as often as he can.

It looks as though that traveling might finally be over and he might have finally picked his team. The defensive lineman had been scheduled to meet with the Oakland Raiders on Wednesday but he reportedly canceled that visit.

There are some who believe the cancellation means that Suh has decided on the Los Angeles Rams as his new team. That pick would make some sense.

If you are going to vet teams as carefully as Suh has done, why would you pick a team like the Raiders who is in a bit of a rebuilding process? Sure, the talent is there to compete, but the Rams are coming off a playoff season with a good, young coach and a good, young quarterback.

The Rams also have quite a bit of defensive talent. Ndamukong Suh being added to a defensive line that already has Aaron Donald on it would make it the best in the business.

There is, of course, no guarantee that the Rams are the team Suh is picking. Even if he has indeed made his choice, and the Rams made a big impression on him, the Titans and Saints have also managed to grab his attention.

The pick for the former Nebraska football superstar is made all that more important by the fact that his new team just might be his last team. Ndamukong Suh isn’t someone who needs to play the game until his body completely breaks down. He’s already set up a way to be productive and well off once his playing days are over. Now he gets to choose with who he will go out.
