So what’s up with the recruits that had committed under Bo Pelini? Here’s who they are and some chatter about that…

Avery Anderson is a safety from Colorado Springs. He’s 6 0”, 170lb and a 4-star according to 247sports Composite report. He was recruited by Warren and signed on 2/2/2014. [UPDATE: Riley set to meet with him Tuesday per Micahel Bruntz wit Huskers Illustrated] Anderson is supposed to be an early enrollee.

Eric Lee is a Cornerback from Littleton, Colorado listed at 6’0”, 175 lbs. He was also recruited by Warren and signed on 2/1/14. He was offered by Oregon St. as well. He confirmed on Twitter that he’s all Husker.

Aaron Williams is also a cornerback from Atlanta, Georgia who comes in at 5’ 11”, 183 lbs. He’s listed as a 3-star and accepted his offer from Warren and UNL on 5/15/14. Coach Warren visited them over the past week but we aren’t even sure Warren will remain on staff.  Sean Callahan reported that the Davis twins’ HS football coach indicates they are still interested in Nebraska.

Carlos Davis is a 6’ 2”, 260 lb, Defensive End from Missouri as well. He is a also a 3-star recruit like his twin brother. He had offers at the same colleges as his brother.

More from Nebraska Cornhuskers News

Khalil Davis is a 6’ 2”, 260 lb., Defensive Tackle from Blue Springs, Missouri. He committed to Nebraska 3/1/14. Mizzou, KU, K St and Az St also made offers. The twins are getting looks from Mizzou Tigers and having competed in the SEC championship game may be a strong pull.

Stanley Morgan is from New Orleans, LA and is a wide receiver at 6′ 0″ and 185 lbs. He committed to Nebraska 11/7/2014 after recruited by Rich Fisher. He tweeted on 12/8/14 that he had “talked to some of the new coaching staff at Nebraska” on that date.

Reuben Jones is in to stay at Nebraska and heard from Mark Banker who said he was the DC last night. D Line Coach “Kaz” was the motivating factor for Jones but likely he won’t be retained on the staff at this point either. He is a 6’ 3”, 223 lb., Defensive End from Lakeland, Florida.

Daishon Neal is an Omaha native standing tall at 6’ 6”, 229 lbs and plays Defensive End. He committed to the Huskers 4/9/14 and was recruited by Barney Cotton. He was tweeting last night about coming to the Huskers.

Michael Decker both are in state commitments and likely to stay. Decker is an Offensive guard from Omaha North weighing in at 285 lbs, and 6’ 4”. Cotton also recruited him.

Christian Gaylord is getting courted by other colleges in an effort to sway his decision. A Garrison recruit from Baldwin City, KS weighing in at 275 lbs., and a height of 6’ 6”. He also looked at IA St., KU, K St. and MN.

Nekyle Lundie is a wide receiver from Tucker, Georgia who stands at 6’ 2”, and weighs 215. Coach Warren recruited him and he committed 8/8/14.

Kevin Dillman did issue a statement saying he’s 100 committed to the Huskers but will end up moving to tight end from QB. Dillman is a 6’ 4”, 220 lb. athlete living in Denton Texas. Tim Beck and Rich Fisher recruited him and he signed 4/5/14. Dillman is a Sweden native who transferred to Guyer High School. He has achieved US citizenship.

[UPDATE] Matt Snyder  tweeted 12/9/14 “thanks to Coach Riley and Nebraska for the offer!” He is from Cal High and a TE/DE player. He is 6’5″ and 245 lbs. He had committed to OSU

Time will tell how the rest of the story will shake out with the recruits who haven’t been contacted yet.  And for that matter we should be getting more updates on coaches although I could see that waiting until after the bowl game in deference to the current coaches.  Regardless….stay tuned.  GO BIG RED!
