Husker Football: Top 10 Teams of All-Time
1. 1995
The greatest team in Nebraska history may be the greatest college football team of all-time.
Coming off a national championship season in 1994, the Huskers were stacked with talent.
With a powerful rushing attack again led by Tommie Frazier and an improved Blackshirt defense led by JUCO transfer LB Terrell Farley, Nebraska destroyed everyone on it’s schedule.
The Big Eight was loaded with talented teams in its final year with three other teams finishing ranked in the Top 10.
Nebraska beat them by an average of just over four touchdowns (28.3 points).

The biggest test was waiting in the Fiesta Bowl against No. 2 Florida.
Despite dominating the nation’s premiere conference, Nebraska was considered an underdog to Steve Spurrier’s speedy Gators.
The Big Red would embarrass Florida 62-24, as they racked up 629 yards of offense on the Gators’ defense, including a 75-yard touchdown run by Frazier in which prompted the now famous call, “how many tackles can one man break?!”.
Nebraska was once again back-to-back champs, leaving zero doubt on the field!
