The college baseball season is in full swing and that means that everyone has started looking towards the end of the season. So when does the College World Series start? It will start at the same day that it usually does.

The College World Series always has the first pitch in June and it’s usually about the second week of the month. For this season, the answer to the question of when does the College World Series start, is on June 13. That’s when the eight teams that make it to the CWS start to try and play for the National Title.

When does the College World Series start?

The actual start of the CWS is staggered. The first two games will take place on June 13 and the second two games will take place on June 14. The next two games, which are the beginning of the winners and losers brackets start on June 15 and the second part of those brackets are on June 16.

Everything rolls from there and while the College World Series officially starts on June 14, it’s set to end on June 22 or June 23. Just how long it goes depends on how the games play out.

Just like the CWS starts around the same time every year, the games usually take place in the same city. Omaha, Nebraska has long been home of the College World Series and this event marks the end of the college baseball season.

That also means that the real answer to when does the College World Series start, is that it starts when the college sports calendar starts to end.
