Fall camp is underway, and that means one thing: football season is finally right around the corner. For Nebraska, that means that year two under Dylan Raiola is almost here, and fans are eager to see what the sophomore gunslinger has in store with a little more experience now under his belt.

In a video from fall camp, Raiola can be seen throwing an absolute dime to tight end Luke Lindenmeyer, which should give Cornhusker fans a lot of hope heading into the season. Things should hopefully be different for Raiola this season with a year of experience and a new offensive coordinator.

Raiola has the potential to be a great college football quarterback and even lead the Cornhuskers to the College Football Playoff, maybe even this season, but the team as a whole has to come together to make that happen. Nebraska is heading into year three under head coach Matt Rhule, which typically ends up being his best season as a head coach.

Rhule has noted this trend in his coaching career and is simply hoping for a successful season with the Cornhuskers this season. Nebraska has the opportunity to be a very dangerous team in the Big Ten this season and make some waves that no one will see coming.

Raiola is the one to lead that charge as the sophomore quarterback has worked hard all offseason to come back and be exactly the player his team needs him to be this year. Raiola has put in the work and is ready to come in and be the guy everyone thought he would be when he was recruited to Nebraska.

Nebraska will open the season away from home as they take on the Cincinnati Bearcats in Kansas City at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, the same place where Raiola's lookalike, Patrick Mahomes, plays as well.
