Matt Rhule wants everyone in the country to know that he has full confidence in his players this season, especially in the defensive line. Back in Big Ten Media Days in Las Vegas last week, Rhule made the bold claim that the defensive line is going to be "hell on wheels" this season, and in a press conference during fall camp recently, he backed up that statement.
"I always have confidence in our players," Rhule said. "The last thing our players need is for me to say they're not going to be good, they hear that enough."
It is no surprise that there are people out in the college football world who doubt Nebraska can be any good this season. The Cornhuskers have had a long drought of truly amazing seasons, and many people don't believe in Rhule, but he isn't letting that stop him from believing in his players.

Rhule believes the defensive line is going to be a point of great emphasis this season as the Cornhuskers need to have a stout defense to match what is looking to be a great offense coming together. The fact that Rhule described them as "hell on wheels" just goes to show how much he thinks of them and what their level is going to be this season.
The reason Rhule believes so much in the defensive line this season is from what he has seen this offseason. He has seen them in the weight room, running on the field, and thinks the only thing that can stand in their way is their own minds.
The mind is always the worst enemy of any athlete, the mental part of sports is almost, if not sometimes, more important than he physical part. So if the defensive line can get through the mental part of the game, Rhule believes they can be very dangerous for any Big Ten team they have to face this season.
