There was a time when Nebraska football fans were oh-so excited about the hiring of Scott Frost. Unfortunately, things didn't turn out anywhere near what Husker fans hoped for, and these days, he's mostly the cautionary tale of hiring the "hot name."

The Alabama Crimson Tide are about to be on the search for a new head coach now that Nick Saban has announced his retirement. There are going to be some names that are fired off as the hottest names in the sport.

Scott Frost is very decidedly not one of the hot names in the coaching field. He seems to want it that way as for now, he's seemingly enjoying not being in the spotlight at all. He's still out of coaching for now.

However, once the news that Saban was retiring started flaoting around social media, more than a few users had a little fun pretending that Scott Frost is the name that make the most sense to replace him. It was actually a little sad how many people immediately started joking about Scott Frost as the replacement.

It wasn't just Nebraska football fans that were taking a few potshots at Scott Frost. People all over social media were joining in on the joking. And the unfortunate former Nebraska Cornhuskers coach was once again the butt of many jokes.
