Talk about a tale of two games for Nebraska football and the Purdue Boilermakers. It looked for a while like the Huskers might shoot themselves in the foot enough to mess around the lose to their Big Ten rival.
In the second half, NU found a way to take over the game over and eventually win 28-10. There will be lots of looks at who performed well and who didn't.
For now, we have the Nebraska football offensive snap counts and PFF ratings following the big win that saw the Huskers move to 4-1 on the season.
Nebraska football ratings and snap counts vs the Purdue Boilermakers
Quarterbacks
The Nebraska football coaches have found some interesting ways to get backup quarterback on the field this season. Sometimes he comes in relief of Dylan Raiola. Other times, he plays other positions. Today he did a little of both.
However, Haarberg didn't throw a pass for NU while Raiola completed 17-of-27 passes for 257 yards and a touchdown. Haarberg did carry the ball twice for 18 yards.
Name | Snaps | Overrall |
---|---|---|
Dylan Raiola | 66 | 69.8 |
Heinrich Haarberg | 3 | 75.2 |
Runningbacks/ Fullbacks
As a group, the runningbacks had a decent, if not spectacular game against Purdue. The one who shone the brightest was Emmett Johnson who had 18 carries for 50 yards while also catching 3 passes for 48 yards.
Dante Dowdell found the end zone on Saturday, despite carrying 9 times for just 21 yards. Rahmir Johnson and Gabe Ervin were both mostly non-factors.
Name | Snaps | Overrall |
---|---|---|
Emmett Johnson | 23 | 72.2 |
Rahmir Johnson | 22 | 54.9 |
Dante Dowdell | 19 | 66.6 |
Barret Liebentritt | 4 | 70.4 |
Gabe Ervin | 1 | 54.0 |
Wide Receivers
Jacory Barney (4 rushes for 66 yards, 1 TD and 2 catches for 28 yards) and Jahmal Banks (5 catches, 82 yards, 1 TD) were the leaders of the unit, but plenty of receivers got meaningful snaps on Saturday for the Nebraska football team.
Name | Snaps | Overrall |
---|---|---|
Jahmal Banks | 49 | 67.3 |
Isaiah Neyor | 42 | 55.7 |
Jacory Barney Jr. | 27 | 75.0 |

Jaylen Lloyd | 15 | 62.3 |
Janiran Bonner | 10 | 55.2 |
Carter Nelson | 5 | 66.2 |
Tight Ends
Three players logged snaps as tight ends on Saturday and Satt seemed to use them pretty well considering their ratings. However, Thomas Fidone is the only one who logged stats as he had 3 catches for 39 yards.
Name | Snaps | Overrall |
---|---|---|
Thomas Fidone | 54 | 55.5 |
Nate Boerkircher | 28 | 49.9 |
Luke Lindenmeyer | 6 | 79.9 |
Offensive line
As a unit, the Nebraska football team's offensive line did not do great. However, not matter what kind of a performance they had, it looks like for now, this is the group. Thanks to injuries and whatever is going on with Micah Mazzccua, the five starting offensive linemen got every snap in the game against Purdue.
Name | Snaps | Rating |
---|---|---|
Gunnar Gottula | 66 | 47.3 |
Justin Evans-Jenkins | 66 | 66.5 |
Henry Lutovsky | 66 | 67.0 |
Bryce Benhart | 66 | 65.1 |
Ben Scott | 66 | 50.6 |
