Brady Quinn can't sign on the dotted line for quite some time but that didn't stop the Nebraska football team from opening the door.

While the Nebraska football have their quarterback of the 2025 class locked down and it seems likely they can lock down their 2026 gunslinger on board as well, Matt Rhule and his crew aren’t wasting any time working towards the program's future.

In order to do that, the Huskers have given an official offer to a quarterback who can’t play for them for several more years. In the process, they’re one of the programs that have the foot in the door for what looks like one of the best signal-callers in his class already.

Brady Quinn is a class of 2028 quarterback out of Naples, Florida. Already standing at 6-foot-1 and 180 pounds, he’s impressive enough that the Nebraska football team are far from the only ones who are gunning for him.

Nebraska football gets it foot in the door well in the future

According to QB Hit List, Quinn just happens to be the top man in his class.

“Very good size for a 2028 Pro Style QB at 6'1" 175 lbs. He's a rhythmic passer with a fluid throwing motion,” the site’s scouting report reads. “Sound throwing mechanics which are consistent in every rep. This QB's key attribute is his accuracy. Sharp precision passing at every level. Making throws with excellent ball placement.”

“This past season Brady had a 70% completion rate. Strong throws made downfield with high velocity. His throws are on a rope with tight trajectory. A proven pocket passer who can also make plays out in the open field. Throwing motion remains consistent while on the run.”

In addition to the Cornhuskers, Quinn has 9 other offers so far. Ole Miss, Kentucky, Louisville, UCF, FAU, Syracuse, Missouri, USF and Maryland.

It’s going to be a long, long time before we have any idea where Brady Quinn is looking to go to college. But at the very least, the Nebraska football team is one of those teams that can have some staying power.
